Can I be a surrogate mother for my son and his wife using my daughter in laws eggs and my sons sperm.

My son and his wife are unable to have children. they did undergo fertility treatment but unfortunately the embryo didn't develop. They have had four unsuccessful attempts and no longer want to undergo this treatment. i wondered if it was possible for me to be a surrogate mother for them. i have four healthy sons with good pregnancies and would love to be able to give them this gift. they would be such wonderful loving parents and it is such a shame that they may never have this chance. My son will not consider adoption under any circumstances
Reply by Rayven Abigail,
Many mothers become surrogate mothers for their sons or daughters in this manner. It is acceptable. Whether you, personally, qualify, heath-wise, to become a surrogate mother needs to be determined by your doctor and IVF clinic.
But yes, many mothers have become surrogate mothers using their son's sperm and daughter-in-law's eggs.
Best wishes!

Ginger,
Your husband having had a vasectomy does not matter, as surrogacy does not involve sperm from the surrogate's husband, and in the case of a mother assisting one of her children, surrogacy does not involve eggs from the surrogate mother.
Please see our "Getting Started Guide" for the steps you need to take to begin a journey:

did you do it? by: jennifer
Abigail - I stumbled across your question online today. I was curious IF you did become a surrogate for your son and if you would be willing to provide me some details of how it works?
My husband and i have been trying to have a baby for years. we have had 2 failed IVF procedures and it takes us 2 years to save for each one. My mom really wants to be a surrogate for us. she is 52 years old, had 4 successful/uncomplicated pregnancies. I am scared that she is our only option left but I fear for complications with her.
I was curious and wondering if maybe you would be willing to share some of your own experience with me., the process, your age, how many transferred, the outcome, etc. I have SO many questions! anyways, I would appreciate it, if you could find the time.
