I just had my son Sylar October 4th and enjoyed everything about the pregnancy and miss it so much! I really want to be a surrogate mother to help a family and be pregnant again. The thing is when I was pregnant with Sylar I had 2 papsmears and they both came back abnormal I go back to the doctor soon to get a coloscopy if they find something will that make it so I can't be a surrogate mother? I'm also 21... This is something I REALLY want to do and would be upset if I couldn't.
Reply by Rayven This is something you will need to speak with your doctor about; it really depends on what they find caused the abnormal papsmears. If it is something that could cause you difficulties in carrying a surrogate baby, or if it is an STD of some sort, then chances are you will not be eligible to become a surrogate mother. But this is all speculation at this point. You need to find out what is wrong and discuss this with your doctor.
