I just recently got my depo shot but now have desided to start my surragatcy process is there any way to counter act the depo shot to help move along the process? Is there anyway to counter act depo shot I wanted to start my surrogacy process but had already had my shot is there anyway to counter act the depo shot?
Reply by Rayven Depo is a big no-no in the surrogacy community. Often, it takes a surrogate mother 12-18 months after her last shot to get it out of her system and to have a proper transfer. There is nothing to counteract it.
My suggestion would be to wait a while, find another form of birth control, do some more research, and begin matching and contracts. Don't rush the process. Take it slow and it should even itself out. Remember, surrogacy is an extremely lengthy process. 12 months flies by.
If you have any questions about your specific situation, they should be directed to your doctor.
