Do you know of any agencies that would let a 20 year old participate?

(Ft. Hood, TX )
My name is Ashley and I'm 20 years old. I've been married for 2 years and have an 8 month old daughter. I had a perfect pregnancy and would love to do it again. Are there any agencies that you know of that would even consider taking me? I meet the required age in 6 months but I dont really want to wait that long if I dont have to. We're just a military family looking to help a couple in need. We are stationed in Ft. Hood, TX right now but will be moving to Ft. Rucker, AL in January 2010.

Ashley,
There are hundreds of agencies in the United States, and most follow state laws, if any, or industry standards (which are 21 or older). There might be some agencies that work with 20 year olds, but I am not familiar with them.
As far as waiting "that long", 6 months is nothing in surrogacy. Chances are, it will take you longer to make a match and complete preliminary testing. Surrogacy is an extremely long process, taking anywhere from one year on the quick end to 2-3+ years on a single journey. If time is an issue for you, then surrogacy is not right for you at this time.
If, however, you are just eager to get started, then I would if I were you. Do your research now. Talk with your husband about what fees you would be looking for. Start contacting agencies and letting them know that you would like to start in a few months, after your 21st birthday. You can still get a jump start on the entire process.
Best wishes!
