Information on Surrogacy

escrow

How can I check out an escrow company? Are there any regulatory agencies, etc.

There are many surrogacy escrow accounts out there, and the best way to check them out is word of mouth. I would speak to my surrogacy attorney if I was you. Many attorneys and agencies also act as surrogate fund escrow agents.

Also, I do not know if you are coming at this from the standpoint of an intended parent or a surrogate mother, but escrow accounts function in different ways as well. Some require intended parents to deposit a lump sum of the entire anticipated payments at one time. Others require monthly/quarterly payments. Find the one that works best for you.
