My husband and I are unable to carry our own child and have turned to Gestational Surrogacy. However, the only thing that is a road block for us is that we can't afford to pay $20K to a surrogate. It's heartbreaking that we don't have anyone willing to carry for us. Is there any surrogates willing to be a surrogate for $10K or less?
Reply by Rayven Yes, there are many, many surrogate mothers out there willing to accept a lower fee. You just need to find them! I would suggest placing an ad on our free surrogacy classifieds boards.
In addition, many couples find a close friend or relative that is able to carry their baby without accepting a fee of any sort. Often, couples find these wonderful surrogates in unlikely places, so even if you feel there is no one in your circle who is able to do this for you, make sure you still share this with them. You just don't know if a friend has a sister who would be willing to help, or a cousin feels drawn to assist you in this way.
That is good to know that you have a potenial surrogate lined up and I hope all goes well with her. Some friends offered the idea of having a dinner and selling tickets, trash bags, skating party, a tea.

Donations/Fundraiser by: Anonymous
if you don't mind me asking what type of fundraiser did you have? The donations and sending letters is a great idea. My husband and I are in the same situation we have the money for the IVF and can compensate $10,000 right now but don't have enough for the $20,000. We have a potential surrogate lined up right now and everything clicks thus far so we are hoping she is willing to negotiate a little bit on the compensation part. We are even willing to keep paying her after the pregancy if that is what it takes and she is willing to give her the full $20,000 we just don't have that extra 10,000 up front right now...I would love to hear about your fundraising idea!

Financially Unable for Surrogacy by: Anonymous
We haven't found any information or a surrogate yet. However, we have decided to be creative in ways to financially support what we desire. We plan to send letters to family and friends to give donations, have a fundraiser, as well as continue to save. We are hoping for even someone in our family or among our friends may consider carrying for us at a less expensive compensation. We do believe it is fair to compensate someone to do this. I will say don't give up on your dream and desire to have a child. If adoption is what you are considering maybe your company gives a reimbursement for it. There are foundations that give money to parents who are adopting. Keep researching and believing! Don't give up!

Did you find someone by: Sandra
We can't afford it either, we are currently working with an adoption agency which was spendy for our budget. Please let us know if you found a solution.
