can my wife and i have our sperm/egg implanted in someone else and have them, carry our baby full term? we feel at our age were to old to carry one but want to have a baby of our own.

You will really need to talk to your fertility doctors about this. Usually, when women cross the 45 or older mark, they use an egg donor. Its not quite as important with a male.

Talk with your doctor and see what options are available to you. Many intended parents are in their 50s when they use a surrogate mother (but again, most also use an egg donor).
