Reply by Rayven Unfortunately, since I am not familiar with prices in the UK, I cannot give you a ballpark range. In the United States, you'd be looking at upwards of $40,000 for a surrogacy without compensating your surrogate mother, as an estimate.
Fees for egg retrievals and transfers are hard to determine, as, like you mentioned, it might not work the first time. Or the second time. Or the third time. Then there are legal fees, court fees, medications, medical care for your surrogate, day to day pregnancy related expenses, travel if needed, etc.
Surrogacy is expensive. My advice would be to add up all the expenses you can think of, worst case scenario, and double the total.
