What emotional stuff do i need to know about
Reply by Rayven
I daresay the emotional "stuff" is much more important than the legal process.
You're going to need to know your views on multiples, selective reduction, abortion, and number of embryos to transfer.
You'll need to know what sort of contact you wish during and after the process.
And you'll need a good support system in place of your own, friends, a spouse, other surrogates, so that when emotional issues arise (and they will) you have someone to turn to.

Spend some time..... by: Rayven from Information on Surrogacy
....on research before jumping into surrogacy. I researched for nearly 6 months before I started the matching process, and am certainly glad I did! This is not the type of situation you want to get into on a whim. There are too many things that can go wrong, and the surrogate mother stands to lose just as much (and in some cases more) than the intended parents.
