Hi, I'm currently residing in Great Britain and I am really interested in starting my own family but i have decided that I'd like to do this through surrogacy, I've been doing my research for a number of weeks and found out Britain isn't the best place to do this so i went looking elsewhere, I came accross you! I fortunately came into alot of money and my parents told me to invest it, I'd like to invest it into having my own child.
I'd like to just know a little bit more imformation about the cost's involved from my side and also this is my important part, I am a single male, would this cause issues or would it be okay considering it would be a pregnancy?
If you could shed some light on these issues you'd be so much help to me. Thank you..

Many intended parents in the UK are choosing to find surrogate mothers in America. In fact, the first set of intended parents I worked with was from the UK.
As to the costs involved, you'd be looking at $80-100k for a gestational surrogacy in the United States, as a ballpark estimate. Your experience, of course, may be more or less. So many factors determine how much a surrogacy will cost. It will depend on if you choose to go through an agency, how many times you travel to the US, if the transfer works the first time, etc.
Since you are a single male looking for a gestational surrogate, you will also need an egg donor.
It is not uncommon for single men to choose surrogacy, though every state in the United States is not friendly to single-males involved in surrogacy. Some states, such as Texas and Florida, forbid it. Most states don't say either way. California is a good state for single men looking for a surrogate mother.
